SoCo Live Event

The Problem:
Loneliness affects half of all adults in Australia, highlighting the urgent need for innovative solutions to foster meaningful connections.

The Challenge:
Designing a prototype event that connected diverse communities, while also demonstrating a clear, measurable impact to investors and stakeholders, required strategic planning, inclusive design, and strong stakeholder engagement. Balancing community needs with investor expectations was essential to ensure the event both embodied SoCo’s mission and served as a compelling proof of concept.

The Solution

We co-created an inclusive prototype event designed to connect diverse communities and demonstrate our impact to investors and stakeholders. This initiative involved:

  • Event Planning: Designing an accessible, engaging experience that embodied our mission.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Bringing together a broad range of voices and perspectives.

  • Content Capture: Documenting the event to extend its reach and showcase outcomes.

  • Marketing and Communications: Developing a targeted campaign to build anticipation, drive attendance, and amplify the event’s impact across digital and community channels.

The event successfully served as a proof of concept, highlighting the effectiveness of SoCo’s approach in reducing loneliness, building meaningful connections, and engaging key audiences.
